Where are the logs kept? - 2008/02/07 22:05 I have looked all over this site with no answer :

where in the world are logs kept? are there logs kept? or is this only live?

I am not always on my computer so it would be nice to look back on logs if anything went down, any suggestions?

Re:Where are the logs kept? - 2008/02/07 22:10 They are kept in the database. Increasing the number of columns to keep in database would affect the live performance because of the table joins.

But, you can try to increase the values of these parameters:

define('JOOMLAWATCH_MAXID_BOTS',10);
define('JOOMLAWATCH_MAXID_VISITORS',15);

Cheers,

Matto

Re:Where are the logs kept? - 2008/02/07 22:32 allright I think I found it?

I look in jos_joomlawatch_ip2c

But it shows odd stuff like-

start end a2 a3 country
50331648 69956103 US USA UNITED STATES

- Is that the right place? there are 3 other joomlawatch things

but I don't really see any logs of ips like I do on the live page

Re:Where are the logs kept? - 2008/02/07 23:22 It's simply in jos_joomlawatch, man!

there is a record for every visit.

And, to avoid duplicity, in jos_joomlawatch_uri there are records which pages has the particular user visited.

so, if you have to join these tables like this:

SELECT * FROM jos_joomlawatch LEFT JOIN jos_joomlawatch_uri ON jos_joomlawatch.id = jos_joomlawatch_uri.fk ORDER BY jos_joomlawatch_uri.timestamp desc
