I feel the Beta is far better then the previous version. I esspcially enjoy the map compontent, its nice to be able to see where people are looking at you from. Wish it could be more accurate though.
I suppose you could place a link of some sort to the left of the "Users" IP's to "Show map" I only Stumbled upon it the first time I saw it.
Live updating is nice, especially when the page they are changing to highlights as they change to it... Though, I am noticeing that it dosnt show the update in the correct date. Perhaps thats that the person has not logged off of the site? Still should it not show in the new date section?
I only ran 1.2.6 for about a month at best, I thought you might want newbies opinion on your work... Might be helpful for you to get an end user who is not as up on web sites as most here probably are... I know enough to be dangerous.
On the front end, I like the addition where you have the stats showing there.. The only thing I would say there is seemingly/ apparently you have to have the module showing on pages for them to show up in the stats.
The problem I have here is, (i.e. in my forum) I have no left side menu showing on my forum page so I cannot add this to my left side menu because of that, I have to have it my footer in which case it does not display very well. But, not that huge of an issue to me for the time being..
Perhaps you could add some options as far as how the frontend displays?
Being that I recieved your permission to explain the problem, here is the link to my site: www.ablesentry.oregonshooter.com
You can see I added the module which shows on the front end to the footer. This is because when you goto my forum, (which is only available to registered users at the moment cause I have a spammer lurking me)
that I have no left side menu options to allow for maximum display of the forum and pictures. So I cannot utilize the module on the left side of the site.
What I was suggesting in reference to this as a solution was being able to configure how the data displays to allow for placing it in different locations of a joomla site. Whether it be a top module; Footer Module; Left or Right side module. I hope this explains it...
I had forgotten that I had stubled on the statistics pop up as I did the map, as you mentioned in the email you sent me. So yes a link there would be a good idea as well.
Something else I have noticed, is that the "expand" links are not functional either. Most information is already expanded upon start up of the data in the back end.
I will leave this where it is for the time being. I dont want to seem or sound critical of an awsome Idea to anyone reading this... Very nice work, and excellent job on what you have accomplished.
