About New Statistics frontend in 1.2.7beta version 8 Years, 3 Months ago
Hi to all
First of all, thank you for your great work and congratulation for the new version and all the good changes that make more interesting this project.

I am testing the new beta version and I would like to quit from the frontend the statistics with the new information like country or number of visitors becouse I have another module from Vinaora doing that.

But when I try to quit by settings, unmarking all the boxes, where you can choose to show or not the visitors for today,yesterday,week,month..., then I still have the statistics in the frontend. Mark or unmark the boxes doesn´t effect in the final result. Logically, I save after unmark all the boxes.

This frontend statistics is more better than I have with the Vinaora Project but I have the other one with all the visitors from 5 months ago and now including joomlawatch statistics module is a confussion becouse you see 45 visitors for today in one and 24 in other. About 5000 visitors for 5 months in one and a few in other.

Is there any possibility to change in any mysql record the value for the statistics for yesterday, week, month, last month and total?. I mean, I would like to take the actual value that show vinaora project and put the same value in the new statistics frontend to have the same that before and eliminate Vinaora Statistics Module.

If it is not posible, How I would have to eliminate all the statistics information from the frontend???

Thanks in advanced and great, great works. Thanks for made a fantastic component like JoomlaWatch.

Thank you

Hi, please download the updated 1.2.7beta from 30.08.2008 (www.codegravity.com/install/JoomlaWatch-...80830-UnzipFirst.zip)
Open com_joomlawatch.zip, and just replace the class.joomlawatch.php and class.joomlawatch.html.php on your hosting in /components/com_joomlawatch folder.
Also copy the map_icon.gif and trend_icon.gif from the icons folder to your icons folder on your hosting.
This way you won\\\'t loose any data.
The other option is to re-install it completely.

Sorry for your inconvenience.

This is because it's taking the all unique ips, not just those who have a real browser

Yes, but unfortunately, I don't know how.

I wish I had read this prior to changing to the 1.2.7 version... LOL I could have saved my info...
None the less, I love the beta version... As I emailed you matto, I did have some suggestions and noticed a couple of things...
I will add them momentarily.
