I recently rebuilt my site from scratch and went to reinstall the pro version of your fine program but this time around - even though I accept the terms of agreement (check the box) and hit the button - the page refreshes and it is the same page with the box unchecked.
THis hasn't happened before and I have tried it in firefox and IE9. Only difference that I can think of is that Joomla just dropped down this new patch. Any tips on how to move forward?

You most probably installed the package for Joomla 1.5 on Joomla 1.6/1.7 or other way around.. Please make sure you have chosen the correct package.

I was pretty sure that I had the 1.7 version installed but I went back and uninstalled it anyway just to be safe. I reinstalled the 1.6/1.7 version from the download I got from your site today and sadly, I got the same issue. I cannot get past the TOA screen.

For those who would like the solution if and when you encounter this issue - converting 1.7 Joomla to 2.5 is in fact the problem as it makes the admin templates have issues with things like checkboxes (much like the one in question on the Joomla Watch install). The fix for this is to go to Extention Manager, Manage, select the template that you are using on the backend and then hit Refresh Cache. This will update some cached template files that needed to be changed due to the different version.
Found this answer on the Joomla forum in a post made a few hours ago.

I made JW 1.2.12 FREE compatible with Joomla 2.5 today. I'll make all other versions compatible soon too. 2.5 is just a security release.

please install the latest update of stable version from the customer zone.
I installed that version on several joomla 2.5.1 websites and it worked without a problem.

Hi I am interested in buying your product (joomlawatch). I try installing the free one but I can't pass the accept licence agreement. I am using joomla 2.5.4 and sql server 2008 r2
I try to reinstall the software but the problem persist.

Hi,
which hosting provider do you use? I don't know if everything works with MS SQL server.. MySQL is 100% supported, but we've never tried in on MS SQL. But there are many users out there I think who use MS SQL server and no-one reported any problem.
I can give you the PRO version license for free to check whether it works or not and what are the possible issues there so we can fix them in order to be 100% compatible with MS SQL, what do you think?
