hi,
joomlawatch is a great extension... nice work.... but i have a question...
is there anyway to bypass or edit the total visits on front-end????
it show me the total visits since i installed the joomlawatch extension... but i have a lot of more real visits bevor i installed joomlawatch...
is it possible to edit the total visitors????
it would be very nice if you can add this option to the backend in a feature version of your great joomlawatch extension

This is not possible. It calculates the number from the time when it was installed.
Maybe you can replace the "Total:" by "Since 1.10.2008:"...
This could be an option for the next version too, what do you think?

That's a good idea.

All of the details are being counted from the existing records.
But.. For now..
You can however edit the class.joomlawatch.html.php and make some "correction" by adding your own values.

if (@ $joomlaWatch->getConfigValue('JOOMLAWATCH_FRONTEND_VISITORS_TOTAL')) $total = $joomlaWatch->getTotalCountByKey("unique") + 1978287;

This is a little hack, but in fact, the purpose is okay - because the webmaster should not lost all his hits. The more correct way would be to display: "Since 10.10.2008: 182828"
