I have selected the option to hide the logo To use a blank 1x1px icon in front-end but I still get JoomlaWatch Stats 1.2.9 by Matej Koval listed in the footer of my website. On some pages I see the box for the logo which should be hidden.

Any thoughts?

The problem with the blank icon and Joomlawatch text being shown was associated with the Joomla SEF options turned on.

To fix this problem do the following:

Add this line into /components/com_joomlawatch/config.php
define('JOOMLAWATCH_LIVE_SITE','www.abovewebmedia.com/');

It worked for me, just remember to put your own website into the url :

define('JOOMLAWATCH_LIVE_SITE','www.yoursitegoeshere.com/')


This does seem obvious, but I missed it at first when I was in a rush.

Also, removing www and just putting yoursite.com may get it to work for some people - I had to do this for my site to work.

I tried this fix - in the version I have all you need to do is uncomment out the line, Matej added it I guess - however, the block is still visible on my page.
If I were to remove/comment out the part of the code that calls for the img would that work?
You can see the &quot;problem&quot; at hraworld.com.
By the way, I removed the &quot;alt&quot; tag for the block. Being a blind user, my screen reader reads that out even though it is not visible to sighted people. If I knew how to just comment out the alt tag, I would have.
