Is there a way to incorporate this code into vBulletin ?

On my site (www.sportsinferno.com) I have a forum which is done in vBulletin, but the main content is done in Joomla.

Love JoomlaWatch, but I lose track of my visitors when they leave the Joomla content for the forum.

Any way to put the code into the template of vB, so it reports back to the Joomla database and I don't lose track of those visitors and the pages they have viewed ?

I second pmcnamara's request. I also would like to see my forum's (IPB) stat's included in JoomlaWatch.

Why not use jos_session table, and php session ID to match username via the session ID.

if I choose not to display anything on the frontpage, just to monitor users, it displays on every page a fey empty lines, 3x<br/>
where should I edit in order to remove these extra lines, this happened only with latest version.

I had translated the French version (sent by mail). However, countries and the module are displayed in English in the frontend.
Look there : www.cours-svt.fr/
The next version is expected to translate these parameters.

This feature is very useful for me, congratulations

Hi Stephane,
yes.. I think it's corrected in latest 1.2.8b. If not, you can open the class.joomlawatch.html.php and find the string Countries and Visitors at the end of this file. This can be then replaced by the constant _JW_FRONTEND_COUNTRIES, _VISITORS (or something like that).

I have to finally sit down and put together all great contributions and suggestions, which you - users have written to me.
I just don't have any free time left There are too many other things which I'm busy with.

hi matto! It was a suggestion of possible evolution. You have already made a colossal work: you have the right to take holidays and have a break. The beta version works quite well so nothing is urgent

It would be good if the flag icons really did tie in more closely with the countries they go to. I find a lot of them don't match up (e.g. showing a US flag for a RIPE.net IP in the Netherlands). Gets confusing, really

I would strongly second this suggestion/request. Being able to see keywords would be a fantastic addition to this product, and really is the only feature that I feel the product is lacking.

What are the chances of adding this feature?

Really? Was this a new feature inserted in 1.28? I'm still running 1.2.7b and I don't see it. Is there a way to tie keywords to specific ip addresses?

There are keywords in the right statistics panel.
Please write how do you imagine your way of handling keywords.

Is this a new feature? I am still using 1.2.7b and don't see keywords listed on the right hand side - although I see where it is in the documentation. Is it possible to link keywords to ip addresses?

It has been added into the 1.2.7 official (the one after the 1.2.7 beta).
What you mean by linking that keywords to specific addresses? Please explain.

I'm envisioning something similar to how "Came From:..." now appears in Joomla Watch. In this way I could see what keywords were used by by a particular ip address to search pages on my site.

Out of curiosity, why can I see some Google searches through the "Came From:" feature, but there are whole lot more keywords listed that presumably all came from Google?

I think it would be useful to save a name to a corresponding IP of a BOT, so if I lookup information on a particular BOT's IP and find it to be one of the Google BOTS or Yahoo SLURP BOT then I can name it that and see the name above or below the IP address.

Could this also work along the same lines as the ip2c table? -essentially it could take the place of the block list by saving "allow/don't allow" along with the name of the bot or something along those lines...

Is it possible in the backend to see all the records of visitors (no bots) from a specific date and optionally filtered by selected country?

If not, could we expect this in the future? It would really be nice to see such feature...

Thanks for making such great extension like JoomlaWatch!

GDay All,

I was just wondering if an IP lookup link could be added to the Visitors IP address. Currently, the visitors address is linked to the Block/Unblock feature. Nice feature BTW.

Also, there is a missing </div> tag in admin.joomlawatch.html.php. This causes the bottom border of the page to be drawn incorrectly.

The tag belongs after the first table.

Version 1.2.7

Cheers.

After Keywords (really good) is it possible to store also Keyphrases?
I often see Keywords like "of", "and", "or"... and they are not that useful

hey all

just installed JoomlaWatch on my site and it is working GREAT!!! it really helps out in trying to get a better understanding of the traffic on my site.

here's the next thing i have in mind in trying to make it work even better for my site. here's the situation:

1: the site is split into two sections, the joomla main website and then a SMF in a different folder to the joomla site.
i.e. root/http/web/(joomla site)
root/http/forum/(SMF)
2: JW is setup in the joomla section.

what i want to do now is to somehow hardcode JW agent into the SMF and be able to monitor the forum part of the website.

Is this possible?

i am more than happy to get my hands dirty as well, and try to hardcode it into the SMF codes, can anyone guide me to the codes that make the agent work?

of course once i have made it work, i would report back on how i have completed it and share it with the rest of the gang.

the site is:
www.myhookerguide.com
forum: www.myhookerguide.com/forum/

cheers

May be the easiest way to do is to bridge your SMF to Joomla, then SMF is wrapped.
See : code.google.com/p/sjsb/

Also I think you can include the code for joomlawatch in SMF templates. (did not try).

What I would really like to have is the possibility of scrolling back days and/or weeks to see visitors without having to set my LIMIT_VISITORS to a too high value.
It would be very useful if Joomlawatch created a download log file, too. Possibly in HTML, too. This way it could be identical to backend page.
