Logs are going to just one IP/user 5 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi! First of all: great tool (JoomlaStats).
I was testing it for about three days ago, and everything was working perfectly. Today I've moved to another ISP, and now I don't have the option of per-IP or per-User log (neither BOTs are logged anymore) all logs are going to one IP: the ISP IP.

Something like this:

BEFORE MOVING:

192.65.54.78 10:24:12 http:blablabla
09:55:10 http:blablablabla

200.128.54.27 10:12:03 http:xxxxxxxxx
09:58:25 http:xxxyyyyxxxyyyy

AFTER MOVING:

200.145.54.59 10:24:12 http:blablabla
09:55:10 http:blablablabla
10:12:03 http:xxxxxxxxx
09:58:25 http:xxxyyyyxxxyyyy

Technical info:

- It doesn't matter what browser is used;
- Joomla: 1.5.22 stable;
- PHP: 5.2.14
- MySQL: 5.1.54
- OS: Linux hm4734 2.6.18-194.32.2.el5.yos1 #1 SMP Thu Jan 6 17:24:47 BRST 2011 x86_64
- Free disk space and database;

I've done nothing except to copy all joomla files to the new ISP and import the database - of course that I've configured configuration.php to the new DB and log/tmp paths.

I hope that this is a common issue, because I was reaaly enjoying the tool and considering to buy it.

Thanks!

FYI: My ISP informed that they are using a Proxy (why?????), so they said that the variable $_SERVER["REMOTE_ADDR"] should be replaced by $_SERVER["X-Forwarded-For"].

Well I've tried to do this change, but it stlll didn't work, because now I do not receive any IP, just a blank space.

Again: Proxy.... why??????? Just to make things more difficult.

So, my question remains: what can be done to solve this problem?

Thank you.
