I have JoomlaWatch installed on a site and have JoomlaWatch Visitors on my front page.
The problem I have is that JoomlaWatch does not seem to recognise South Africa or Zambia, and there may be others. It seems that these are just ignored in the front end, not sure. In the back end they are in the main shown as GB however when I look at the Geo-Location Information the IP is shown in South Africa. I do have occasions seen South African IP addresses shown and US, it seems to be random.
A number of South African visitors are shown as Bots, I have just seen one, who I know is in South Africa, appearing without a country code at all.
I have updated the database from the IP-to-country database but this did not make any difference.
I have no idea how JoomlaWatch does its counts. The front page is showing 1886 visitors this month however I also run AWStats on the site and this shows 1010 unique visitors and 3991 visitors. I have no idea which is correct.
Please let me know how I can solve the problem with identifying South Africa.
