No data shown in backend 7 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi there,
I installed your new version i.e. JoomlaWatch 1.2.8b, however it does not show any visitor's report in the backend. So wondering if anything is missing. I have followed all the installation instruction.

Attached is the screenshot of the issue...

your earliest reply is much appreciated...

best,
Simon

Hello everyone,

There was a really strange bug, which was causing a strange behavior.

Enjoy it

Having similar problems in the back end. It does not show how many visitors and how many members are online. Says We have Guests online....when it should say.......We have ## guests online and ## members or something like that.....

It just gives me this:
6 We have guests online 03.12.2008 10:11:16 Transfered: 146 KB

I am using joomla 1.5.7
I had the joomlawatch 1.2.8b and just installed the new 1.2.8_04-dev

Thanks for your help.

Hello all,

I'm starting to use this module on my site but it only registers the registered users.

It is a site where people can not register themselves but a lot of information is free. But those users and also the bots are not showing up at the backend.

What can be wrong.

Hope that somebody has the solution.

As always with regards,

Cor

Maybe the JW module is just selected to show up to the Registered users. Check the module settings whether it displays for everyone.

The tranfser is still counting, but thats all.

Module is published.
Shows up to public/everybody.
It's visisble at the front end (i see Countries and visitors but no data)

I use Joomla 1.5.8
Maps are writeable.

Same issue here. Old version stopped working only gave me "Loading visitors..." message. Install of new version gives same result. check chmod and all is 755 for JW. Any ideas?

Hi Joel,

The problem was, that you didn't have the 'placeholder' in your template, a 'position', which is needed for module to appear at.
So I needed to edit the HTML of your template adding the following lines:

<!--- I've just added the following lines: -->
<tr>
<td valign="middle">
<jdoc:include type="modules" name="footer" />
</td>
</tr>
<!----->

Then, in the JoomlaWatch module settings, I've set it to appear at 'footer' position..
Voila.. now you can see everything in the component's interface.
Furthermore, in the frontend, there are the countries and visitors stats. You can switch them off in the Settings.

Thanks all,
It does work fine at my website too. I had to reinstall the entire Joomla site as some files were overwritten in the previous one.

Its a great extension and definitely must have for Joomla based websites.

cheers!
