I have this weird problem

On the left of the stats page it reports the correct time (512762 We have guests and members online 11.12.2009 08:37:04), however on the right side the time lags behinds by 15 hrs as below

Is there a solution for this?

I take it the author of this program does not respond?

I'm working on a fix for this problem.

I still need to resolve this issue. I have the correct time zone and everything on the left side reports the time correctly. However on the right side under "Visit stats for week" it doesn't switch to the next day until 4 PM. Which is 16 hours late. Very frustrating.

I have tried messing with the expert settings but never get even close. There must be a methid for figuring this out?

I tried 1.2.11 it some time ago and it was quite buggy and didn't provide info in keys words and such things

You probably meant 1.2.10_04. I have it tested by several users from other countries, and they reported that it works well (they are in different timezone as their webhosting server)

I installed new version, but I have a problem: time is always 1 hour forward.
When it's 12, it says 13 and so on...
I'm Italian, so I'm CET +1
Is it possibile the problem is that in this time of the year we have legal hour?
I even tried to set local time on CET 0 in Joomla configuration/server but it didn't seem to work.

You are in GMT+2 because of DST. So you need to set the global timezone to GMT + 2

I've tried, but it's even worse. If I do, I'm TWO hours forward instead of just one...

There is another option. In components/com_joomlawatch/config.php there is a DST value set to 0. You can set it to 1 to use DST.

and now it works OK.

I have the same problem with the version 1.2.12

My server and I are located in Slovenia, so I set the Joomla time to UTC +02:00. Time displayed in joomla is correct, but in the JoomlaWatch stats window all the times are 2 hours in advance.

The time now is 23:28 on August the 6th, but in live stats it's already August the 7th 02:18 (last visitor)

try to change the following tip from -0 to something like -2 or +2.

return time() + $tz -0 * 3600;

Tried the get server time change but made no difference. On left it says today is 26th and on right it says today is 25th and Saturday instead of Sunday.

Hi I had similar problem with the time stamps for the real time visitors in version 1.2.14 I just purchased and installed.
After a bit of researching I found Thad there are 2 possibilities for this problem.
1. Your website is running on the hosting server Time! and this is NOT your local time.
2. The Joomla versions up to 1.5 do not support daylight saving time.
I solved the problems on my site with just a view simple steps.

1. If your server time is not your local time and you are on a sheared server you can ad the following lines to your .htaccess in your domain's directory.
SetEnv TZ America/Argentina/Buenos_Aires
Now, you have to know the name of your local timezone. Google for us2php for timezone, and chance America/Argentina/Buenos_Aires to your zone, country and city.
2. FTP over to /youdomain.com/components/com_joomlawatch/class.joomlawatch.helper and chance @ line 267 0 to your needs eg= +1

I cant gurantie it works for everione but it works for me.
Also conciter to back up your .htaccess and class.joomlawatch.helper files just in case.

In the new version 1.1.16 I used another trick.
In the same file class.joomlawatch.helper.php I found the line



and changed it to:



I add +1 for Greece. Find the difference and put the appropriate No there.
