Upgrade from 1.2.8b to 1.2.9 tables restore failed 7 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
On the website i downloaded the newest version 1.2.9. In this package is a textfile with the name upgrade.txt that said:

When you are doing an UPGRADE from some older version
====================================================
Uninstall from the admin backend #!ERASES!# all the database tables that belong
to JoomlaWatch. But, you can backup these tables with tools like phpMyAdmin, or some
database tools that comes with your webhosting. After the upgrade, you can restore them back.

So first i did make a backup from my joomlawatch tables with phpmyadmin.

I uninstalled the component and all modules and installed the new ones.
All works fine and indeed all data where lost in the process.

I restore all the tables from the backup and override the new ones.
In the joomla backend the joomlawatch config works fine but the modules in the frontside are blanc.

- First i tried with drop table and later only with insert in table
- Delete all joomlawatch tables and restore the old ones.
- I tried with only one table at the time .

All failed and the frontend modules are showing noting but the title.

So this backup procedure is not working or i'm doing something wrong?

Could anyone please help?
